  • 2 (5 oz) cans canned tuna drained
  • 1 (10.75 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and cook the egg noodles according to package directions; drain them well.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked and drained noodles, tuna, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and peas.
  • Stir in half of the shredded cheddar cheese until everything is well combined.

Baking

  • Transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish and sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs evenly over the top.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the topping is golden brown.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of garlic powder or onion powder to the mixture. You can also customize the casserole with other vegetables like diced celery or corn.
