Equipment

  • bamboo rolling mat
  • sharp knife

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 0.5 lb sushi-grade salmon
  • 2 cups cooked sushi rice
  • 4 nori sheets
  • 2 tbsp sriracha
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp green onions, sliced

Instructions

Preparation

  • Finely dice the sushi-grade salmon and combine it with sriracha, mayonnaise, sesame oil, and sliced green onions in a small bowl, mixing well.
  • Place a nori sheet on a bamboo rolling mat, spread a thin layer of sushi rice evenly over it, leaving a small border at the top, and then spoon the spicy salmon mixture in a line across the center of the rice.
  • Carefully roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat, moisten the top edge of the nori to seal, and then slice the roll into individual pieces using a sharp, wet knife.

Notes

For best results, use freshly cooked and cooled sushi rice. You can adjust the spice level by adding more or less sriracha. Serve immediately with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger if desired.
