  • 2 (5 ounce) cans canned tuna, drained
  • 3 cups egg noodles
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup crushed potato chips or breadcrumbs

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and lightly grease a 2-quart baking dish.
  • Cook the egg noodles according to package directions, then drain them well.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cooked and drained egg noodles with the drained tuna, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and frozen peas.
  • Stir in 1/2 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese.

Baking

  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese over the top.
  • Sprinkle with crushed potato chips or breadcrumbs for a crispy topping, if desired.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and heated through.

Notes
