Preparation

  • In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
  • Slice each Hawaiian roll in half horizontally, but keep the halves attached on one side, creating a "book" shape.
  • Heat a large non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and add butter to melt.

Cooking

  • Dip each Hawaiian roll half into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated.
  • Place the coated rolls onto the hot skillet or griddle and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Repeat with remaining rolls, adding more butter to the skillet if needed.

Notes
