  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.13 teaspoon black pepper

  • 0.13 teaspoon garlic powder
  • chopped chives

For garnish

  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 fresh parsley finely chopped

Instructions

Preparation

  • Carefully slice each hard-boiled egg in half lengthwise and gently scoop out the yolks into a medium bowl, placing the egg white halves on a serving platter.
  • Mash the egg yolks thoroughly with a fork until they are finely crumbled, ensuring no large lumps remain.
  • In a separate bowl, blend the softened cream cheese with a fork until smooth, then add it to the mashed egg yolks.

Making the Filling

  • Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and black pepper to the mashed yolk mixture and mix well.
  • If using, stir in the sweet pickle relish and any other desired optional additions like hot sauce or garlic powder.
  • Taste the filling and adjust seasonings as needed, ensuring it is well-combined and creamy.

Assembling and Garnish

  • Using a spoon or a piping bag, fill each egg white half with the yolk mixture, creating a neat mound.
  • Garnish the finished deviled eggs with a sprinkle of paprika and a dash of fresh dill or chopped parsley for added color and flavor.

Notes

For the best texture and flavor, ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature before mixing. You can also experiment with different garnishes like crispy bacon bits or chives for extra zest.
