Ingredients

Main

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 0.5 cup soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger grated

Instructions

Preparation

  • Whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the teriyaki marinade.
  • Place chicken wings in a large bowl or a resealable bag and pour the marinade over them; ensure all wings are coated, then marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

Cooking

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • Arrange the marinated chicken wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, discarding any leftover marinade.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and cooked through with an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Notes

For an extra sticky glaze, you can brush the wings with a little extra honey during the last 5 minutes of baking. These wings are delicious on their own or served with a side of steamed rice and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for garnish.
