Equipment

  • oven
  • pizza stone or baking steel (optional)
  • pizza peel or baking sheet
  • flour (for dusting)

Ingredients

Pizza Dough

  • 1 ball store-bought pizza dough or homemade, pre-made

Toppings

  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 10 slices pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup sliced bell peppers

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to the highest setting, typically around 475-500°F (245-260°C), and place a pizza stone or baking steel inside if you have one.

Assemble the Pizza

  • Lightly flour a pizza peel or a baking sheet. Carefully stretch or roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness and shape on the floured surface.
  • Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, then arrange your chosen toppings like pepperoni, mushrooms, and bell peppers.

Bake the Pizza

  • Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated oven, either onto the hot pizza stone/baking steel or onto a baking sheet. Bake for 5-8 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

Serve

  • Carefully remove the pizza from the oven, slice it, and serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra crispy crust, make sure your oven is very hot before adding the pizza. You can also brush the crust with a little olive oil before baking for a golden finish.
