  • 2 (6 oz each) salmon fillets
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and dried parsley.
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels, thenSeason both sides of the salmon with salt and pepper.
  • Brush the top of each salmon fillet with olive oil, then firmly press the Parmesan mixture onto the oiled side of each fillet, ensuring an even coating.

Cooking

  • Place the crusted salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork and the crust is golden brown and crispy.
