Ingredients
  

Fish Taco Ingredients

  • 1 lb white fish fillets such as cod, tilapia, or mahi-mahi
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 lime for serving
  • 0.5 cup cabbage shredded, for serving
  • 0.5 cup salsa for serving
  • 0.5 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt for serving

Preparation

  • Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels, then season them generously with taco seasoning on both sides.
  • Brush the seasoned fish with olive oil to prevent sticking and add flavor.

Grilling

  • Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  • Grill the fish for 3-5 minutes per side, or until it's cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Assembly

  • Warm the tortillas according to package instructions, either on the grill, in a microwave, or in a dry skillet.
  • Flake the grilled fish into bite-sized pieces.
  • Assemble your tacos by placing the fish in warm tortillas, then top with shredded cabbage, salsa, and a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt.
  • Serve immediately with fresh lime wedges for an extra burst of flavor.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a squeeze of lime juice over the fish before grilling. You can also customize your tacos with toppings like avocado, pico de gallo, or hot sauce.
