Ingredients
  

For the Fish

  • 1 lb cod fillets
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the Slaw

  • 1 bag coleslaw mix
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp sriracha

For Serving

  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 1 avocado sliced
  • 0.25 cup cilantro chopped

Instructions
 

Prepare the Fish

  • Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels, then sprinkle them evenly with the taco seasoning.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the seasoned cod fillets for 3-4 minutes per side, or until they are flaky and cooked through.
  • Once cooked, remove the fish from the skillet and flake it into bite-sized pieces using a fork.

Make the Slaw

  • In a medium bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, fresh lime juice, and sriracha.
  • Mix everything well until the coleslaw is evenly coated.

Assemble the Tacos

  • Warm the corn tortillas according to package directions, either in a dry skillet or microwave.

Serve

  • Fill each warm tortilla with a portion of the flaked fish.
  • Top the fish with a generous spoonful of the prepared slaw.
  • Garnish your tacos with fresh avocado slices and chopped cilantro before serving immediately.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a squeeze of extra lime juice and a dash of hot sauce to your finished tacos. You can also customize your toppings with salsa, pickled onions, or a sprinkle of cheese.
