  • 1 piece chicken breast
  • 1 package ramen noodles
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 egg
  • 2 stalks green onions
  • 0.5 teaspoon sesame oil

Preparation

  • Slice the chicken breast into thin strips and chop the green onions. Prepare all other ingredients for assembly.
  • In a medium saucepan, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
  • Add the chicken strips to the boiling broth and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • Add the ramen noodles to the saucepan and cook according to package directions, usually 2-3 minutes.
  • While the ramen cooks, soft-boil an egg, peel, and slice it in half.
  • Stir in the soy sauce, sriracha, and sesame oil to the ramen mixture, adjusting to your taste for spiciness.
  • Pour the ramen into a bowl and garnish with the sliced green onions and the halved soft-boiled egg.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your fiery chicken ramen.

Notes

For extra heat, add more sriracha or a pinch of red pepper flakes. You can also add other vegetables like corn or spinach for more nutrition and flavor.
