  • 4 medium ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Instructions
 

Cobbler

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and melt butter in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Whisk together flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  • Stir in milk and vanilla extract until just combined to form a batter.
  • Pour batter over melted butter in the baking dish without stirring.
  • Arrange sliced bananas evenly over the batter.
  • Mix remaining 1/2 cup sugar with cinnamon and nutmeg, then sprinkle over bananas.
  • Bake for 35-45 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
