  • 1 lb Shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 5 Tortillas large flour
  • 1 cup Lettuce shredded
  • 1 cup Tomatoes diced
  • 1 Avocado sliced

Marinade

  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Cumin
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  • Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade and toss to ensure they are fully coated. Let the shrimp marinate for 10-15 minutes.

Cooking

  • Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Once hot, grill the marinated shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they turn pink and opaque.
  • Remove the grilled shrimp from the heat and set aside.

Assembly

  • Warm the large flour tortillas according to package instructions, either on the grill, in a microwave, or in a dry skillet.
  • Lay out each warm tortilla and fill with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced avocado, and the zesty grilled shrimp.
  • Fold the sides of the tortilla in and then roll it up tightly to form a wrap. Serve immediately and enjoy your quick and zesty shrimp wraps!

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of fresh lime juice over the wraps just before serving. You can also customize by adding your favorite salsa or a drizzle of hot sauce.
