Ingredients
  

Meatballs

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp sriracha optional

For Serving (Optional)

  • 1 baguette
  • 0.5 cup pickled carrots and daikon
  • 0.5 cup cucumber slices
  • 0.25 cup cilantro
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

Instructions
 

Prepare Meatballs

  • In a large bowl, combine ground pork, minced garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, black pepper, and sriracha.
  • Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined. Form the mixture into 5 equal-sized meatballs.

Cook Meatballs

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned and cooked through.

Serve

  • Serve the meatballs as desired. For Banh Mi style, slice a baguette, spread with mayonnaise, and fill with meatballs, pickled carrots and daikon, cucumber, and cilantro.

Notes

You can adjust the spiciness by adding more or less sriracha. These meatballs are also great served with rice or noodles.
