  • 5 medium sweet potatoes
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Topping

  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar, packed

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Peel and boil the sweet potatoes until they are very tender, then drain and mash them in a large bowl.

Mixing

  • Add granulated sugar, melted butter, milk, and beaten eggs to the mashed sweet potatoes, mixing until well combined and smooth.
  • In a separate small bowl, combine chopped pecans and packed brown sugar for the topping.
