Ingredients
  

Stir Fry

  • 1 lb beef sirloin sliced thinly
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions
 

Stir Fry

  • Whisk together soy sauce, beef broth, honey, sesame oil, cornstarch, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a small bowl, then set aside the sauce.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add broccoli and cook for 3-5 minutes, until tender-crisp.
  • Stir in the sauce and cook until it thickens, coating the beef and broccoli.
  • Serve immediately with rice, if desired.

Notes

For extra spice, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce. You can also substitute beef with chicken or shrimp, and broccoli with other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas.
