In each of five jars, combine 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1/2 cup milk, and 1 tablespoon chia seeds, along with yogurt, sweetener, and a pinch of salt if desired.
Stir or shake each jar until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Cover the jars and refrigerate them overnight, or for at least 4 hours, to allow the oats to soften and thicken.
In the morning, add your favorite toppings and enjoy your prepared overnight oats.
