Cake

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

Tres Leches Milk Mixture

  • 12 ounces evaporated milk
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Whipped Topping

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Cookie Butter Drizzle

  • 1/2 cup cookie butter

Garnish

  • Biscoff cookies crushed

Optional

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Bake the Cake

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • Prepare cake mix according to package directions using milk and oil instead of water.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool completely.

Prepare Tres Leches Mixture

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, and heavy cream.
  • Once cake is cooled, poke holes all over the top using a fork or skewer.
  • Slowly pour the milk mixture over the cake, allowing it to soak in.

Make Whipped Topping

  • In a large bowl, beat heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  • Spread whipped topping over the soaked cake.

Add Cookie Butter Drizzle

  • Melt cookie butter in the microwave for 30 seconds, or until pourable.
  • Drizzle melted cookie butter over the whipped topping.
  • Garnish with crushed Biscoff cookies, if desired. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
