Ingredients
  

Patties

  • 1.5 lbs Ground Lamb or Beef
  • 4 oz Feta Cheese crumbled
  • 1/2 cup Spinach chopped
  • 1/4 cup Red Onion finely diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper

Toppings & Buns

  • 5 Burger Buns
  • Tomatoes sliced
  • Cucumbers sliced
  • Red Onion sliced
  • Tzatziki Sauce for serving

Instructions
 

Prepare Patties

  • In a large bowl, combine ground lamb or beef, crumbled feta cheese, chopped spinach, finely diced red onion, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  • Gently mix the ingredients until just combined, then form into five equally sized patties.

Cook Burgers

  • Preheat a grill or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the patties for 4-6 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

Assemble Burgers

  • Toast the burger buns lightly if desired.
  • Place a cooked patty on each bun and top with sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, and a generous dollop of tzatziki sauce.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the patty mixture. If using lean ground beef, you may want to add a tablespoon of olive oil to the mixture to prevent dryness. Serve with a side of Greek salad or crispy potato wedges for a complete meal.
