  • 2 large Eggs

  • Cut the mozzarella block into 1-inch cubes and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs seasoned with salt and pepper.
  • Dredge each cheese cube first in flour, then in egg, and finally coat thoroughly with breadcrumbs.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350°F (175°C).
  • Carefully fry the breaded cheese cubes in batches for 1-2 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove the fried cheese bites with a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra flavor, add garlic powder or Italian seasoning to the breadcrumbs. Ensure the oil is at the correct temperature for best results; too low, and the cheese will melt out. Serve with marinara sauce or your favorite dip.
