  • 3 Small pots or seed trays
  • to moisten Water

Instructions

Planting

  • Fill your small pots or seed trays with seed starting mix, leaving about an inch from the top.
  • Plant thyme seeds thinly just below the surface, parsley seeds a bit deeper, and chive seeds about 1/4 inch deep.
  • Gently water the soil until it is moist but not waterlogged.

Care and Growth

  • Place the pots in a sunny spot or under grow lights, maintaining a temperature around 65-70°F (18-21°C).
  • Keep the soil consistently moist, watering when the top inch feels dry.
  • Once seedlings are a few inches tall, thin them to ensure adequate spacing for healthy growth.

Harvesting

  • Begin harvesting thyme and chives when plants are 6-8 inches tall by snipping the top leaves.
  • Harvest parsley leaves from the outside of the plant, allowing inner leaves to continue growing.

Notes

Ensure good drainage in your pots to prevent root rot. For continuous harvest, consider successional planting every few weeks.
