Equipment

  • Oven
  • Baking sheet
  • Aluminum foil
  • Knife
  • Basting brush

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 3 full rack of pork ribs
  • 1/4 cup BBQ rub your favorite
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce your favorite

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs by gently prying it up with a knife and pulling it off.
  • Generously rub both sides of the ribs with BBQ rub, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  • Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, bone-side down.

Cooking

  • Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender and easily pull away from the bone.
  • Remove the ribs from the oven and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C).
  • Brush the ribs generously with BBQ sauce. Return them to the oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and slightly sticky.

Serving

  • Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy your delicious BBQ ribs!

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the ribs in BBQ rub overnight. You can also finish these ribs on the grill for a smoky char after baking, brushing with sauce in the last 15 minutes of grilling.
