Ingredients
  

Stir Fry

  • 1 lb chicken breast cut into strips
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup carrots sliced
  • 1 sliced bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 1 tsp garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cups rice cooked, for serving

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, and minced garlic to create the stir fry sauce.

Cooking

  • Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken strips and cook until browned and cooked through.
  • Add broccoli, carrots, and bell pepper to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • Pour the stir fry sauce over the chicken and vegetables. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens slightly.

Serving

  • Serve the chicken stir fry immediately over cooked rice.

Notes

Feel free to customize this stir fry with your favorite vegetables like snap peas, mushrooms, or water chestnuts. For a little heat, add a dash of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
