  • Wash and drain the spinach thoroughly; then, blanch it in boiling water for 2 minutes, squeeze out excess water, and chop it finely.
  • In a large bowl, combine the chopped spinach, ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, and egg; mix well.
  • Season the mixture with a pinch of nutmeg, salt, and black pepper to taste, ensuring all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Cooking

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  • Spoon the spinach and ricotta mixture into the prepared baking dish, ensuring it is spread evenly.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the mixture is heated through.

Notes
