  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 5 cheddar cheese slices
  • 1 refrigerated crescent rolls (8-count can)

For the Garlic Butter

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet.
  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, then drain any excess fat.
  • Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Place a cheddar cheese slice on the wide end of 5 of the triangles, then spoon some cooked ground beef over the cheese.

Assembly and Baking

  • Roll up each crescent from the wide end towards the pointed tip, ensuring the filling is sealed inside. Discard the remaining 3 crescent rolls, or bake separately as a snack.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the melted unsalted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley.
  • Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the tops of the assembled rollups.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and puffed up.
