Main Ingredients

  • 2 _ boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 _ onion, chopped
  • 1/2 _ bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

For Serving (Optional)

  • 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions
 

1. Cook the Chicken and Pasta

  • Season chicken with Cajun seasoning. Cook in a skillet with olive oil until done. Cook pasta according to package directions.

2. Make the Cream Sauce

  • In the same skillet, melt butter. Sauté garlic, onion, and bell pepper. Stir in flour, then gradually whisk in milk and heavy cream until thickened. Stir in Parmesan cheese.

3. Combine and Serve

  • Add cooked chicken and pasta to the sauce. Toss to combine. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in Cajun seasoning for at least 30 minutes before cooking. Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to your spice preference.
