  • Slice the steak against the grain into thin strips and marinate with fajita seasoning and 1 tablespoon of olive oil for at least 15 minutes.
  • Slice bell peppers and onion into thin strips.

Cooking

  • Heat a large skillet or cast-iron pan over medium-high heat with the remaining olive oil.
  • Add the steak in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned, then remove from the pan.
  • Add the sliced bell peppers and onion to the same pan and cook until tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Return the steak to the pan with the vegetables and toss to combine, cooking for another 1-2 minutes until heated through.

Serving

  • Warm the tortillas according to package directions.
  • Serve the steak fajita mixture in warm tortillas with your favorite toppings like salsa, guacamole, and sour cream.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can marinate the steak overnight. Adjust fajita seasoning to your taste. You can also add other vegetables like zucchini or corn.
