Ingredients
  

Pasta Salad

  • 8 ounces short pasta
  • 1 pint cherry or grape tomatoes
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella balls small
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves packed, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Balsamic Glaze

  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup optional

Instructions
 

Prepare the Pasta

  • Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente; then drain and rinse with cold water to cool.

Make Balsamic Glaze

  • Combine balsamic vinegar and honey in a small saucepan, bring to a simmer, and cook until thickened into a glaze.

Assemble Salad

  • In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, halved tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and chopped fresh basil.
  • Pour olive oil over the salad ingredients and toss gently to combine.
  • Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the pasta salad just before serving, tossing to coat evenly.

Notes
