Notes

For a milder soup, remove all seeds and membranes from the jalapeños, or use fewer jalapeños. For extra spice, leave some seeds in. Cooked chicken can be rotisserie chicken or leftover cooked chicken breast. This soup can be made ahead and reheated gently on the stovetop or in the microwave.
