  • 1 lb (450 g) Large raw shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 12 oz (340 g) Fettuccine pasta
  • 4 tbsp (60 ml) Unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ cups (360 ml) Heavy cream
  • 1 cup (90 g) Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp Fresh lemon juice
  • Salt to taste Kosher or sea salt preferred
  • Freshly cracked black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
  • ¼ tsp Red-pepper flakes optional
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil for sauté

Preparation

  • Pat the shrimp dry, then season lightly with salt, pepper, and flour, tossing to coat evenly.
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, then add the fettuccine and cook for 8-10 minutes until al dente.

Notes

For extra flavor, use a touch of white wine in the sauce. Adjust red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
