  • 8 oz Soft cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan
  • 1/4 cup Crumbled feta
  • 1 tsp Minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup Chopped black olives
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh herbs parsley, basil, or cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes optional
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Panko breadcrumbs for coating
  • Extra-virgin olive oil for drizzling
  • Wedge of lemon for serving

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, Parmesan, feta, minced garlic, and chopped black olives.
  • Add the fresh herbs, a pinch of salt, and black pepper, then mix until the mixture is smooth.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 15 minutes to firm the mixture.
  • Using a teaspoon, scoop and roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.
  • Press each ball lightly into Panko breadcrumbs to create a light crunchy coating.
  • Place the coated balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust turns golden.

Notes

For an extra burst of flavor, try adding a squeeze of fresh lemon juice into the cheese mixture. You can also experiment with different fresh herbs like chives or oregano. These cheese balls are best served warm, drizzled with olive oil and a lemon wedge on the side.
