  • Wide, non-stick skillet

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Large cooked shrimp peeled, deveined, tails on
  • 4 Tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves Fresh garlic minced
  • ½ cup Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest optional
  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ¼ tsp Freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp Smoked paprika optional
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh parsley chopped
  • ½ cup Cocktail sauce store-bought or homemade
  • Ice and decorative platter
  • Pinch Crushed red pepper flakes optional

Instructions

Cooking Steps

  • Pat the cooked shrimp dry with paper towels to ensure a better sear.
  • Melt unsalted butter with olive oil in a wide, non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 30-45 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to brown it.
  • Sprinkle in salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika (if using), then stir to combine the seasonings.
  • Toss the shrimp into the skillet, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated in the garlic-butter mixture.

Notes

For an extra burst of flavor, marinate the shrimp in lemon juice before cooking. Ensure the skillet is hot enough to quickly coat the shrimp without overcooking, as they are already cooked. Serve immediately for best results.
