  • Skewers (metal or wooden)
  • Grill
  • Large Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Beef Sirloin or Rump cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 Bell Peppers various colors, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 Red Onion cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes
  • 8 Mushrooms whole, button or cremini

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the marinade ingredients including soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, a touch of honey, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the cubed beef to the marinade, ensuring it's fully coated, then cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for maximum flavor.
  • Thread the marinated beef and prepared vegetables alternately onto skewers, making sure not to pack them too tightly.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, then cook the kabobs for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness and the vegetables are tender-crisp.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a dash of smoked paprika to your marinade. If using wooden skewers, remember to soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning. If you don't have a grill, you can bake these kabobs in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes, or pan-fry them in a large skillet until cooked through.
