  • 2-3 jalapeños sliced, seeds removed for less heat
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil

  • In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper; mix until smooth, then stir in sliced jalapeños and half of the shredded cheddar.
  • Place chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet, season with salt and pepper, and then evenly spread the cream cheese mixture over each chicken breast.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through, then sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the chicken and bake for another 5 minutes until melted and bubbly.
  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving, and garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro if desired.

Notes
