Ingredients
  

Crust

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Filling

  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup Key lime juice

Topping

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions
 

Crust

  • Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl, then press the mixture into a 9-inch pie plate.

Bake Crust

  • Bake the crust in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly golden.

Prepare Filling

  • Whisk together egg yolks, sweetened condensed milk, and Key lime juice until smooth. Pour the filling into the pre-baked crust.

Bake Pie

  • Bake the pie at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until the filling is set. Let it cool completely before refrigerating for at least 2 hours.

Make Topping

  • Whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form, then spread or pipe the topping onto the chilled pie before serving.

Notes

For best results, use fresh Key lime juice. If Key limes are unavailable, regular lime juice can be substituted, but the flavor may be slightly different.
