  • 8 oz Fettuccine
  • 8 oz Mushrooms sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1.5 cups Heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Cook fettuccine according to package directions, then drain and set aside.
  • Melt butter in a large pan over medium heat, then add mushrooms and garlic.

Cooking

  • Sauté mushrooms and garlic for 5-7 minutes until mushrooms are tender and browned.
  • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce has thickened.
  • Add cooked fettuccine to the sauce and toss to combine; season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  • Serve immediately and garnish with extra Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For a richer sauce, use full-fat heavy cream. You can also add grilled chicken or shrimp for a more substantial meal.
