  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper optional

For the sauce

  • 00.5 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Preparation

  • Cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes and toss with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).

Cooking

  • Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
  • Add the broccoli florets to the skillet with the chicken. Cook for another 3-5 minutes, until the broccoli is tender-crisp.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the BBQ sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Pour the sauce over the chicken and broccoli, and stir to coat. Cook for 1-2 minutes, until the sauce is heated through.

Serving

  • Serve immediately with your favorite sides like rice or cornbread.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can marinate the chicken for 30 minutes before cooking. Adjust the cayenne pepper to your spice preference.
