Ingredients
  

Crust

  • 1.5 cups Graham crackers crushed
  • 6 tbsp Melted butter

Creamy Layer

  • 8 oz Cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 8 oz Frozen whipped topping thawed, half of the tub
  • 1 tsp Coconut extract

Topping

  • 8 oz Frozen whipped topping thawed, remaining half
  • 0.5 cup Toasted coconut flakes for garnish

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare the Crust

  • Mix crushed graham crackers with melted butter and press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish; then chill the crust for 15 minutes to set.

Step 2: Make the Creamy Filling

  • In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until the mixture is smooth and lump-free, then gently fold in half of the thawed whipped topping and the coconut extract.

Step 3: Assemble and Chill

  • Spread the creamy filling over the chilled crust, top with the remaining whipped topping and sprinkle toasted coconut flakes over the top for garnish; cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the lush is firmly set, before serving.

Notes

For an extra tropical flavor, consider adding finely shredded coconut to the creamy layer along with the coconut extract.
