Margarita

  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 0.75 oz Cointreau
  • 0.5 oz cranberry juice
  • 0.25 oz simple syrup
  • 1 cup ice
  • 5 whole cranberries for garnish
  • 2 small fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish

Rim

  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp lime zest

Instructions
 

Part 1

  • Combine sugar and lime zest on a small plate.
  • Rim a chilled margarita glass with a lime wedge, then dip the rim into the sugar-lime zest mixture.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add tequila, lime juice, Cointreau, cranberry juice, and simple syrup to the shaker.
  • Shake well until thoroughly chilled, about 15-20 seconds.
  • Strain the margarita into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Garnish with fresh cranberries and a sprig of rosemary.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a thin slice of jalapeƱo to the shaker. Adjust sweetness to your liking by adding more or less simple syrup. This recipe can be easily scaled for a larger batch by multiplying the ingredient quantities. Enjoy responsibly!
