Preparation
In a large bowl, combine the mandarin oranges (undrained) with the dry jello mix.
Gently fold in the whipped topping until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is light and airy.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate the jello salad for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, allowing it to set completely.
Notes
For best results, chill thoroughly before serving. You can also add a dollop of whipped cream on top for an extra treat.
