  • 1 lb Baby Bok Choy rinsed and halved lengthwise
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil for stir-frying
  • pinch Salt
  • pinch Black Pepper

Preparation

  • Wash and halve the baby bok choy, then mince the garlic.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, and water.

Cooking

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add garlic and stir-fry until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  • Add baby bok choy to the skillet. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until bright green and slightly tender-crisp.
  • Pour the soy sauce mixture over the bok choy, toss to coat, and cook for another 1-2 minutes until heated through.
  • Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper to taste.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
