  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup sliced black olives
  • 0.25 cup green onions sliced

Assembly

  • Spread the refried beans evenly onto the bottom of a serving dish.
  • Carefully spread the guacamole over the bean layer.
  • Gently spread the sour cream as the third layer.
  • Spoon the salsa over the sour cream.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the salsa.
  • Top with the sliced black olives.
  • Garnish with the sliced green onions and serve immediately with tortilla chips, or cover and refrigerate for later.

Notes

For best results, prepare and serve within a few hours to prevent the guacamole from browning. You can substitute ingredients based on your preference, such as adding a layer of seasoned ground beef or different types of cheese.
