Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb Chicken breast cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 4 cups Broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 0.5 tsp Red pepper flakes or more, to taste

  • 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp Water

Instructions

Preparation

  • Whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, cornstarch, and water in a small bowl to create the sauce; set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, then remove and set aside.
  • Add broccoli florets to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  • Stir in minced garlic and red pepper flakes with the broccoli, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Return the cooked chicken to the skillet with the broccoli. Pour the prepared sauce over everything and stir to coat, cooking for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Notes

For extra heat, add more red pepper flakes, or a dash of sriracha to the sauce. Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
