  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a large skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until it's browned and crumbled, then drain any excess fat.
  • Spread the cooked sausage evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  • In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the sausage in the baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the egg mixture.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let the casserole stand for a few minutes before serving.
